I had previously purchased it too. While logged into Itch, at the top of the page is a banner saying "You own this game" and has a download link. I was able to download the 1.0 Beta just fine without having to pay for it again.
Hey silvercenturian, are you using the Itch App? I bought the game 3 years ago and I can download the 1.0 Beta normally via my browser, but I can't install it via the Itch App.
That's likely because the dev forgot to flag the file as the installation file for Windows/Android OS. Note how other games usually show a little OS-specific symbol to the right of the file name. If the dev doesn't flag that correctly, the Itch App doesn't allow you to install the file.
I haven't played this in a while because I was waiting for 1.0, so I was wondering:
Can anyone tell me what this "colleague section" is that the developers removed from the game (according to the most recent devlog)? Doesn't sit well with me at all that they're removing content from the Itch version and re-writing part of the story in the vague hope of not getting refused by Steam again, so I'd like to at least know what it is we're missing out on.
From what I could find in the discussions on Discord, they removed the college/school section. So I think the release notes just have a typo. (I have not actually tried the 1.0 version yet, so if I am mistaken, someone please correct me.)
The college/school section was mostly a side-story that contained very little H-content. It was also kind of abandoned and unfinished anyway. After you finished that section, if you tried to go back at the bus stop, it would just show a "work in progress" message. So the part about Steam not liking it may be more of a convenient excuse... Although it did seem more like a high-school than a university, which could have certain implications about the age of the characters.
The dialogue with the principal and students did give some interesting back-story nuggets for such an early part of the game. I do hope they find a way to work that back in... Regardless, those same story details are all covered in more detail during the end-game reveals.
Thanks for the explanation! Would you believe I didn't realize "colleague" is probably just a typo until right not? I even played the game with the barebones college section a few years ago. Man, do I feel stupid now =D
Makes total sense though. From what I've heard, Steam curators follow a hard "no school-like environments in NSFW games" rule.
And I get that the devs probably don't have the funds to create two separate builds, but it's still a bummer they have to change their game on Itch just to hopefully not get rejected by Steam this time around...
The team is working on a new project currently so they did not abandon itch. this is all the info I have and don’t feel like looking into it any deeper.

I've already paid for it, now I'm locked out of the downloads
if you go to "my library" it shoud still be there
and how is the game? do you recommend to buy?
It's a good game, but it's in my library but all it offers is a walkthrough video and no download for 1.0 beta, unless I have to pay again which is BS
rip :/

Thanks for pointing that out. Should be fixed now
Thanks! Works on my end.

oi, cheats aren't working, something about some value not being true or something
Don't buy the game here. You can get a much more updated version on Patreon (version 1.0) and it seems the dev abandoned itch.
